How to make an electrical floor plan

  1. Give the size

    Enter the overall size of the electrical in feet or metres, for example 28 × 26 ft.

  2. Describe what goes inside

    List the rooms, then the outlets, switches, lights, smoke detectors, and panel in each. Add sizes or counts where you know them.

  3. Place doors and windows

    Say which walls get the entrance, doors, and windows, and which way the doors swing, so the electrical floor plan shows real clearances.

  4. Check and download
