How to make a 3 bedroom house plan
Pick one or two floors
Say "one-story" or "two-story" and give the footprint, for example 44 × 30 ft or 28 × 26 ft.
List the rooms
Three bedrooms, the number of bathrooms (2 or 2.5), kitchen, living, dining, laundry, and any garage or office.
Group the rooms
Say which rooms sit together, for example "primary suite on one side, two bedrooms and a shared bath on the other".
Check and download

Choosing a 3 bedroom layout
On one floor, a split plan puts the primary bedroom on one side of the living area and the other two bedrooms on the other side, which works well when the second and third bedrooms are for children or guests. Grouping all three bedrooms on one hall uses less hallway and keeps plumbing closer together.
On two floors, the stair takes floor area on both levels, so place it where it also serves as the hall. A half bath downstairs saves guests a trip upstairs.
